ASFG’s Sin Fronteras Receives National Recognition
We are proud to announce that ASFG’s student literary magazine, Sin Fronteras, has been awarded an Excellent designation by the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) in the Recognizing Excellence in Art and Literary Magazines (REALM) Program for 2024.
This recognition highlights the dedication and creativity of our student writers, artists, and faculty advisors in producing a magazine that reflects the depth and diversity of our school community.
A Legacy of Excellence
Since its founding in 1991, Sin Fronteras has received 28 awards, including the Highest Award for Best Student Magazine Internationally on four occasions. Additionally, Sin Fronteras holds the distinction of being the longest continuously student-produced publication in Latin America. This is an incredible achievement, yet only a handful of people are aware of it.
About the REALM Award
The REALM program celebrates outstanding student literary magazines that foster creativity and self-expression. Schools from across the United States and international institutions compete for this distinction, making this achievement a testament to the exceptional talent within ASFG.

Nos enorgullece anunciar que la revista literaria estudiantil del ASFG, Sin Fronteras, ha sido distinguida con la calificación de Excelente por el del National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) en el marco del programa Recognizing Excellence in Art and Literary Magazines (REALM) del año 2024.
Este reconocimiento resalta la dedicación y la creatividad de nuestros estudiantes escritores, artistas y maestros coordinadores en la producción de una revista que refleja la profundidad y diversidad de nuestra comunidad escolar.

Además, Sin Fronteras se destaca por ser la publicación estudiantil con la producción continua más longeva de América Latina.
