The financial aid office will begin accepting applications for financial assistance for registration and tuition fees for the 2025-2026 school year starting on Monday, Jan 6th 2025.
The application deadline is Friday, January 24th, 2025, and all applicants will be notified on or before Friday, February 28th, 2025.
The program is designed to help alumni, with demonstrated need, enroll their child at discounted fees for their first year at ASFG. After the first year, alumni must apply to the SEJ or UNAM scholarship program to continue receiving financial aid. The Financial Aid Program for Alumni is only for new students. Children of alumni already attending ASFG do not qualify for this program.
Your child does need to be admitted or enrolled for the 2025-2026 school year to be able to apply for financial aid, however you do need to apply for admission by January 17, 2025. This implies that you have submitted all required documentation by this date for your child to be considered a candidate for admission to the 2025-2026 school year.
To qualify for financial aid under this program the father or mother of the new student must be an ASFG alum. An ASFG Alum is defined as a student that matriculated at ASFG, attended classes and whose parents paid a full admission fee. Please be prepared to provide dates regarding your tenure at ASFG as well as the year your parents paid your New Admissions Fee.
A committee of school administrators, parents and community members will be formed to analyze applications and determine the amount of financial aid for each applicant. Given that the program is limited to available spaces and demonstrated need, we cannot guarantee that all applicants will receive financial aid. The maximum amount of financial aid that can be provided by this program is 50% of the annual registration and tuition fee. This program does not provide financial assistance for the New Admissions Fee. This fee must be paid in full, or using one of the financing plans available, when enrolling your child. The committee will carefully review all applications and will require a socioeconomic study to assess the financial need of each applicant. Only admitted students will be eligible to receive any financial aid awarded.
The procedure established by the school to apply is as follows:
Fill out the Financial Aid Alumni Application form by clicking the I WANT TO APPLY button below. To fill out this form, you must be prepared to provide:
Alumni Information: High school graduation year, or section and years at ASFG, year admitted to ASFG and year New Admissions Fee was paid.
Student Applicant Information: Name and grade level of new student, and sibling information, if any.
How much can you afford to pay?: A personal analysis of your financial situation and reflection on what you can pay per school year for your child to attend ASFG
A copy of your responses will be sent to the email address indicated on the form which will serve as confirmation that you have completed the application. The deadline to submit applications is Friday, January 24th, 2025.
Complete the socioeconomic study. The study consists of:
Filling out the form and submitting the required documentation by CERTU.
Receiving the social worker visit. Deadline January 31th 2025.
Complete the payment at the school cashier. ($1,250.00)
