When we talk about fundraising,  we think that it is something new that has been created for a specific purpose or  a trend that the school has decided to join. However, it is important to note that philanthropy is part of  the school's DNA. Though until 2002, fundraising activities had been carried out spontaneously and informally, in that same year, structure was given to the activity to conduct the first fundraising campaign: "Green for All” with a goal of raising $1,800,000.00 to develop the new land acquired by the school.

Since then, the fundraising activity has been present in different ways to consolidate student projects, service learning, educational scholarships, new spaces, or events for the school where the community comes together to support different causes.

Growing Together

The design of our new campus will honor everything that has made The American School Foundation of Guadalajara, A.C. what it is today, in addition to incorporating elements that will add great value to our 21st-century educational program.

Areas for student and teacher collaboration; flexible classrooms to accommodate the variety of instructional modalities that our students deserve. And as a LEED-certified campus, the buildings and workspaces will be our "third teacher", educating our students and the community on the importance of being contributors to the community through sustainable design.

The current situation demands that we have resources to invest in education and to develop and adapt our educational system to the demands of the social, technological, and economic changes that will occur in the next 10 years.

Investing in education  is always necessary. In order to keep pace with global development, today, more than ever,, it is crucial to invest in education that provides what is necessary to not fall behind, to be able to keep up, to understand, and to be part of the changes.
