My name is Gloria Jimenez and I’m from Los Angeles, California. I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Loyola Marymount University and a master’s degree in education with an emphasis in school counseling from Cal State University Dominguez Hills. I worked for several years in California public schools. I moved to Guadalajara in 2007 and in August 2009, was fortunate to join the early childhood team at ASFG. It is my pleasure to support students with their overall development and work alongside their parents and teachers to address any specific needs they may encounter in their learning, social-emotional wellbeing or behavior. “It takes a village to raise a child” and this is why it is important that parents, school and the greater community each do their part and work together in providing the safety, love and stimulation children need to develop and thrive.
