We want to thank everyone who joined us for our Giving Celebration on Wednesday, December 11, and helped to make it a wonderful community experience. Over 1,000 people gathered to spend time with each other during our final event of 2024!
The Parents’ Association generously donated tamales, buñelos, and ponche for all to enjoy. Students and staff members entertained us with holiday songs while twelve different service learning projects raised awareness for important causes.
We are proud to announce that our annual Empty Bowls event raised $223,359.60 pesos for ONI (Organismo de Nutrición Infantil). With our annual Empty Bowls donation, ONI is able to provide a nutrient-rich milk formula to all the children that attend the center for an entire year!
We also want to thank the following restaurants for donating delicious soup for everyone who purchased a student work of art: ANIDA, Chai, Grand Fiesta Americana, Los Ilustres, Outback, and Toyo.
This event was a wonderful reflection of what it means to be a member of our ASFG community!
