Welcome Back to the 2024-25 School Year, ASFG Community!
I hope this message finds you well and excited for the year ahead. My name is Virginia Markman, and I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new Director of Extended Learning. In this role, I have the privilege of working closely with the directors of our co-curricular sports programs, the Language Institute, and the Robotics program. We are pleased to announce that the Warrior Parent Academy will be joining the Extended Learning Program. I will be collaborating closely with Gaby Castañeda throughout this transition. I would like to express my gratitude to Gaby for her tremendous hard work and commitment, which have made the Warrior Parent Academy the success it is today.
Before the transition of the Warrior Parent Academy to Extended Learning, the Community Relations Department planned a robust lineup of conferences and workshops for the 2024-25 school year. Our program will focus on six key strands: Cognitive Tools, Communication and Family Dynamics, Boundaries and Trust, Belonging, Using Technology for Good, and Physical and Emotional Health. These topics have been carefully selected to support and empower our parent community in fostering positive growth and development in their children.
