ASFG Helps

Dear ASFG Community,

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! We are writing to tell you about ASFG Helps and our collection at Open Houses!

Through this program, our school community (students, parents, teachers, and administrators) will be able to help communities near and far when natural catastrophes occur by collecting and storing non-perishable food items and hygiene products throughout the school year. This will allow us to be ready to respond quickly when needed.

ASFG Helps is also a vehicle to help other organizations in our community as they support and help vulnerable populations.

Last school year, we donated items to the Otis Hurricane Victims and communities, the Xamaxtli Community, FM4, Wixárikas, Casa Marked in San Pedro Itzicán, and DIF Guadalajara.

During Ms Elizabeth Raygoza’s Mexican Geography class (10th Grade, students used the information about ASFG Helps, our work, and locations of support to create infographics. They represent the areas that we have reached with the ASFG’s community help! Please take a look at their work here. Thank you, Ms Raygoza and your students!
