On Tuesday, May 28, we will celebrate Warriors Day, a day of celebration for the athletes and robotic students of the ASFG co-curricular activities. We will hold two events on the same day, the “Warriors Parade” and the “Warriors Award Ceremony”. With the promotion of both of these events, we want to continue to strengthen the ties with our educational community, as well as enhancing the sense of belonging: “We are all Warriors.”
The first event will be the “Warriors Parade”. This will be held for the first time ever and will take place on the Football field at 10 a.m. The students of the co-curricular sports activities and robotics will parade around the athletics track. The whole school will show their support and appreciation of each team, recognizing their achievements, commitment, discipline, efforts and how they have represented ASFG with honor during this school year in different school events. They have demonstrated the meaning of “Proud to be Warriors”
The second event will be the “Warriors Award Ceremony”. This will take place in the ASFG Gym from 3:00 p.m. This ceremony is for all our students of co-curricular sports activities from grades pre-first to seventh, where they will each receive their commemorative medal. Parents are cordially invited to attend this event and participate in the athletic celebration.
Finally, as part of the dynamics established for this date and understanding the humanistic and philanthropic sense that has characterized our community for many years, we call on the ASFG community to join a service project by donating a pair of sports shoes that they no longer use, that can then be reused by different organizations. Donations can be received from this Monday, May 20th until Thursday May 30th. We will have container boxes outside the Physical Education and Sports office, door one or Middle School office where you or your children can leave your donations.
We are convinced that the implementation of all these activities will have a positive and motivating impact for our students.
¡Go Warriors!
